Welcome. First of all, I would like to introduce myself. I’m Dr. Smith. I’ve been a podiatrist in Moline since 2000. I am originally from Davenport and attended North High School and the University of Iowa. I received my Doctrate of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 1997. My residency training was also in Chicago and completed in 2000.
I currently reside in Moline with my wife, Judy. We enjoy traveling together. I also enjoy road cyling and have an interest in military aviation. Patients often comment on my collection Blue Angel framed artwork in treatment room #1.
So what is my reason for blogging? I hope to provide additional podiatric medical information for my patients (and non-patients), thus keeping you up to date on the latest trends, technology, and surgical techniques in foot care. In fact, between March 3-6, I will be attending the Midwest Podiatry Conference in Chicago. It is one of the largest conferences in the country with many lectures and displays of new technologies.
Besides sharing advances in podiatric medicine with you, I also hope to provide additional foot care tips and introduce new products for your feet. I would also like to comment on current foot related issues or news across the Quad City Area (QCA) and country. I guess you can say, I’ll share my “sole”. Thanks Everyone!
